Sushil sits on a mountain.

Tip 1: Keep your profile updated

Your LinkedIn profile serves as your first introduction, and this needs to be updated regularly. The trick is to frequently update your profile with top skills, accomplishments, and values. Ensure your profile has a professional vibe to make it more impactful.

Tip 2: Networking is key

Creating a good profile is just the beginning. Joining the right set of forums/groups is the key. Make sure to join groups that align with your interest(s). By doing this you will gain knowledge, receive guidance, and network with professionals from the industry.

Tip 3: It’s okay to start small

Engaging on LinkedIn need not be scary. Start small by liking posts and updates and leaving congratulatory and thank you comments. You could then start reposting content published by others that you find interesting. Slowly build your confidence so that one day you are freely sharing your opinion.
