What are some of the most valuable experiences you've gained during your time in the MDP program?

I had the opportunity to work on The Partner Connection UNCUT Podcast during Dell Technologies World. I was able to listen in and hear our execs speak with our partners on various projects and initiatives that we are working on together. It was an amazing experience, and I was able to learn so much about Dell and its partnerships.

Could you highlight any standout projects or opportunities you've had a chance to work on as part of the MDP program?

During my first rotation, I was in charge of the Global Partner Newsletters which are sent out to four different partner types. By the end of my rotation, I had created and sent 35 newsletters to recipients all over the world in 11 different languages. These newsletters proved very successful with a 23.42% open rate, beating the industry standard of 21.3%. I was very proud of my hard work during the rotation and had many assets to show for it.

In what ways has the program fostered a sense of community and collaboration among participants, and how might this benefit new members?

This program has helped build a bond between all its members, especially within my cohort. We have built a strong sense of community and have been there for each other in times of need as well as celebrated each other's accomplishments. I have made many friends through this program, and I am so grateful that the MDP brought them to me. We also have our MDP buddies; I have one in Semester 3 who mentors me, and I have two in semester 1 who I am lucky enough to mentor. I have learned a lot from both being a mentee and a mentor, and I have been able to build a strong bond with my buddies. Any new member of the program is guaranteed to have guidance and support in many ways.

What inspired you to apply for the Dell MDP program, and how has it impacted your career?

I applied for the MDP program during my final year of college. They say you should know exactly what you want to do by graduation, but how can you know for sure when you haven't tried it all? During college, I had an internship doing events, and although I enjoyed it, I wasn't completely sure that event marketing was what I wanted to do. The MDP sounded like the perfect opportunity to try out various roles and areas of the business with the goal of finding the place where I best fit. I am so glad I took the chance of applying because the program has already taught me a tremendous amount of knowledge as well as allowed me to build my network.

Following my first rotation, I am now fully knowledgeable on Dell's partner ecosystem, with a deep understanding on how large corporations partner together to make big things happen. This is something I could have never learned if it weren't for the program. I am now learning the importance of an employee advocacy network as I currently hold the role of Advocacy Network Operations. This program teaches you SO much in just two years - it is truly amazing.
