Dell Technologies' Pride Employee Resource Group

Dell Technologies’ Pride employee resource group (ERG) creates a space for the company’s LGBTQ+ community to network, be their authentic selves, offer perspective to company leadership on issues the community faces and provide educational resources to colleagues who want to be an ally. This global ERG is made up of several country-specific chapters that address needs in their respective countries.

Educating colleagues on allyship – including guidance on pronoun usage, for example – has been a big focus for the ERG over the past few years. This commitment to inclusion, and the vibrancy of Dell’s Pride ERG community, is one example of the supportive, inclusive environment Dell creates for its employees. As Dell team member and Pride ERG member Gabe Rodarte-Miller shared, “I’ve never been out at work until I came to Dell. That speaks volumes to the atmosphere here. I can be out!”

More than just education and advocacy, Pride ERG’s fun events are a source of community and joy. Recent events have included Friday dance parties with music and dress-up themes, quarterly lip sync contests and a spin-off of the TV competition series “The Masked Singer.” 

The Pride ERG will commemorate 2023 Pride Month with the theme, “Honor the Past, Be Present, Secure the Future.”
